4/4/04 We have a lot of stock available, we don't have the time to picture every one of them unfortunately as there are well over 100 fish for sale. More information is available on our forums in This thread
2/16/04 As you've noticed our forums have been down, for like two weeks. The database has "lost" the file for the "forums" table and I don't have root access to host98.ipowerweb.com to fix the problem (run DBA tools to fix the database). I have tried contacted supporting several times - send two emails, etc. I haven't got anything out of them yet - I'm more than slightly annoyed.
1/25/04 We reduced our prices... we are unsure what we could get for our fish so we set them high first.
1/18/04 You're probably going to see a bunch of pairs slowing showing up in the stock shop throughout the day. If you are on the waiting list for a specific spawn you have first dibs - if you're not on a waiting list then you need to wait until I post another news entry saying that the waiting list people are done [edit: The spawn waiting lists for all three spawns being posted frooze the moment i posted this]
1/6/04 We got some pictures of the Half Black orchids up, just a couple teasers of two different males, I haven't yet perfected the lighting yet, but you get the idea. See the pictures Here.
12/29/03 We're having problems photopgraphing our kids, our cheap digital camera doesnt white balance very well - causing the picture to either be yellowed or blued, and naturally this only happens when we're trying to photograph our fish!. UG! Anyway we have 6 pairs of half black orchids, 5 pairs from HM009, and some fish from FI-CT-DT-001 but we're not sure how we're going to arrange them yet. Our shipping supplies are being delayed anyway so it's not big problem that we have to delay photographing as well.

12/17/03 More spawns! Also there are now pictures in the Tank Setup and Spawning sections of our Spawning 101 (from HM010), and with christmass break coming up we're going to be able to get a lot done on the site such as restoring the fry/juvies care and feeding sections of our spawning 101, we also will hopefully be posting a disease information database
11/27/03 We've moved to our apartment, so we're in a stable location now. Derek has build several shelves for the bettas, and we're hoping to increase our spawning capacity to 10 spawning tanks and 10 grow out tanks. The spawns are growing like weeds now, and we should have several lovelies for sale in a couple months. Kudos to http://www.airwaterice.com for sending us a fabulous RO/DI unit. Its taken our water from ~330 PPM of total disolved solids to 0 PPM (before remineralizing)! Happy fish!

Yet Another Spawn! HM011 - From two of our new kids not even named yet [just got them shipped in on tuesday!] A royal blue true halfmoon female with a green near halfmoon [170+] male. Here come the halfmoons again!
Two New spawns (12/15 and 12/17) the older being SD-DTG003 which was a male from SD-DTG001 crossed with a young [but fertile and ready to go] girl from HM009, the other spawn is between Aragorn II and another female from HM009 which is in progress right now, and is going to be a nice large spawn I think and will be designated HM010 -- Quick update on 12/20 -- Looks like there are somewhere around 20 SD-DTG003 babies already eating baby brine shrimp. There are somewhere around 100 babies from HM010 I estimate, the poor daddy was having problems keeping up with those falling brats so I had to lower his water to 1", but now they're almost all free swimming, so Aragorn II will get his much needed vacation soon!
The kids from SD-DTG002 are doing well
The young HMs/NearHMs from HM009 are looking very nice A lot of juvies from this spawn are jarred
Almost all the half black orchids from FI-CBlVf-001 are jarred, they're sassy, constantly want to spawn and there are 9 males with atleast that many females (probably more like 1.5 times that many females)
All ten remaining juvies from FI-CT-DT-001. Have been jarred and are farely diverse in colors
